Sustainable Science Symposium 2008
 

What is the Symposium?


A chance to learn from a diverse group of leaders from the Graduate School of the Environment based at the Centre of Alternative Technology
.  The symposium aims to demonstrate how the theory from MSc Architecture: Advanced Environmental and Energy Studies (AEES) can be applied to the field. Dozens of experts will come together for one week only to share their papers, knowledge and skills.

 When is it?

Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th October 2008. A great weekend of presentations, workshops and entertainment.

For AEES participants, this is the weekend before the October module.

Who will present?

Presentors will include the excellent Jason Hawkes co-founder of J3 Building Futures. Co-Lead Authors of ZeroCarbonBritain will be back with its latest findings following on from the great preview at last years symposium. Jamie Bull presenting whole life valuation. CAT education will present their EU and DFID funded game "Where's the impact". Followed by RESET explaining how sustainability affects NGO's in the field and how bringing best practice to the majority world can made a huge difference.   To find out more follow the "Presentations" link in the main menu.
